The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development calls for more vigorous international sanctions against the Russian Federation

Since the beginning of Russia's insidious military invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have been destroying residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, killing and injuring thousands of civilians. The Russian occupiers continue to commit atrocities, bomb peaceful towns and villages of Ukraine, and take our citizens' lives.
We call on the civilized world to stop this horror on the territory of a peaceful European country. Ukraine is grateful for the help provided by governments worldwide to fight against the Russian occupiers. The sanctions imposed in the first weeks of the Russian invasion are strong, but they cannot stop the aggressor.
Imposing even stricter sanctions against the Russian Federation can stop the aggressor country and save the lives of our children and the children of all Europe!
