Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk has signed the Order on the Establishment of a Working Group, which will work out proposals for bringing the provisions of the Rules of Procedure into line with the Constitution of Ukraine.
"It's time for a change. And the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine need these changes. It should become a system of procedures, where each function of the Parliament should be provided by the relevant regulations, and the provisions of the Rules of Procedure should be a prerequisite for the transformation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in general," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, the newly established working group will also work on the implementation of the Recommendations of the European Parliament Mission on internal reform and increase the institutional capacity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
