The Committee on Legal Policy recommends to adopt in general the draft law 'On Enforcement Proceedings' on Creating Conditions for Implementation of Agreements on Settlement of Disputes Concluded between the Foreign Entity and Ukraine"

During it's meeting, the Committee on Legal Policy considered the draft law 'On Enforcement Proceedings' on Creating Conditions for Implementation of Agreements on Settlement of Disputes Concluded between the Foreign Entity and Ukraine".
The purpose of the bill is for Ukraine to implement dispute settlement agreements concluded between a foreign entity and the state of Ukraine at any stage of dispute settlement or consideration of the case, including the stage of recognition and enforcement of the decision.
The draft law proposes to amend Articles 39 and 27 of the Law of Ukraine “On Enforcement Proceedings”, stipulating that enforcement proceedings are subject to termination if, in accordance with the terms of the dispute settlement agreement, the enforcement document is not enforceable or the debtor’s obligations are terminated. In such cases, an enforcement fee is levied.
According to the results of discussions, the Committee decided to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to adopt in general the draft law 'On Enforcement Proceedings' on Creating Conditions for Implementation of Agreements on Settlement of Disputes Concluded between the Foreign Entity and Ukraine".
