Adopted as a basis the Draft Law No. 3356-d "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Mandatory Use of Liquid Biofuels (Biocomponents) in the Field of Transport".
The purpose of the draft Law is to create a regulatory framework for the development of production, circulation and use of liquid biofuels in transport.
The draft law provides for the implementation of the provisions of Directive 2009/28/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources in terms of ensuring Ukraine's international obligations regarding the share of energy from renewable sources in the gross final consumption of energy in transport, which Ukraine has undertaken with the accession to the Energy Community.
