Oleksandr Merezhko, Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, met with Bertel Geismar Haarder, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Folketinget of the Kingdom of Denmark.
During the meeting, the parties focused on discussing issues of strengthening the Ukrainian-Danish political dialogue, including Denmark's support in countering Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, the importance of supporting the Crimean Platforms initiative and Ukraine's rapprochement with NATO.
Special attention during the conversation was paid to the deepening of the Inter-Parliamentary dialogue, holding an online meeting with the participation of Committee members, exchange of visits between the Committees.
Chairperson of the Committee Oleksandr Merezhko expressed gratitude for the constant support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as Denmark's compliance with the policy of non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea.
