The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the draft law No. 5094 "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving Legislative Regulation in the Field of Outdoor Advertising".
According to the author of the bill, MP and Deputy Speaker of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk, the purpose of the document is to correct the chaos in outdoor advertising in Ukrainian cities, streets and highways, as well as to consolidate all rules on outdoor advertising in the one basic law.
According to the bill, each billboard (billboard, billboard) will receive a special QR-code, with which citizens will be able to track who owns the advertising structure and who places advertising on it.
"I am confident that such measures will improve the quality and effectiveness of advertising. Many thanks to the relevant Parliamentary Committee, the co-authors of the bill, who represent the various Factions, and all those who joined. Together we are taking an important step towards Ukraine's European integration," Olena Kondratiuk said.
