Adopted as a basis the draft law No. 5017 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Space Activities" on Determining the Status and Distribution of Powers between Central Executive Bodies in the Sphere of Space Activities".
The draft law is aimed at bringing the Law "On Space Activities" in line with the requirements of national and international legislation in the field of space activities, a clear division of powers between public authorities in the field of space activities, namely: the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the State Space Agency of Ukraine.
The draft law proposes: to define the status of the State Space Agency of Ukraine as a central executive body with a special status, which ensures the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of space activities; its powers in the relevant field and the principles of interaction with other central executive bodies, etc.
