Adopted as a basis the draft law No. 5099 "On Anti-Doping in Sport".
The draft law proposes to determine the legal and organizational conditions for the prevention of doping in Ukraine, the responsibilities of relevant institutions, agencies and organizations for the prevention of the use and spread of doping in sports.
The draft law proposes to:
- develop the new Law of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping in Sports", taking into account the provisions of the International Convention against Doping in Sport, and the Law of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping Control in Sport";
- expand and clarify the terms of anti-doping activities, to determine the status of the National Anti-Doping Center as a specialized state institution that organizes and carries out doping control in sport;
- determine the main provisions on the activities of the Supervisory Board of Anti-Doping Control;
- determine the directions of state and regional policy on prevention of doping in sports and obligations of public organizations of physical culture and sports orientation;
- determine the basic procedure for organizing doping control.
