The Committee on Youth and Sports supported the bill on the use of land provided for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities

At its meeting, the Committee on Youth and Sports considered the draft Law on Amendments to Article 20 of the Land Code of Ukraine on the use of land provided for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities (No. 5434).
The purpose of the draft law is to provide conditions for the use of land provided for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities exclusively for the provision of physical culture and sports services.
The draft law proposes, by supplementing Article 20 of the Land Code, to provide at the legislative level that "change of purpose of land plots provided for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities is not allowed."
During the discussion, the members of the Committee supported the legislative initiative. Following the consideration, the Committee decided to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft law (No. 5434), as a basis and in general.
