The Committee on Economic Development recommends to adopt in the second reading and in general the draft law on improving the system of appeals against public procurement

Members of the Committee on Economic Development considered in the second reading the draft Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On Public Procurement "and other laws to improve the system of appeals against public procurement" (No. 5309).
The draft law “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Public Procurement’ and other Laws on improving the system of appeals against public procurement” proposes to amend the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Public Procurement” in order to improve and clarify certain provisions of the act, as well as to solve practical problems that have arisen during its application.
During the discussion of the comparative table, the deputies supported the Committee's amendment No. 15, which clarifies the definition of "services", and decided to take into account the amendment No. 16.
In addition, the Committee amendment proposed a new version of the article, which determines the procedure for the presence of the parties at the meeting of the Commission for Complaints of Violations of Public Procurement Legislation.
The members of the Committee decided to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft law No. 5309 in the second reading and in general with technical and legal revision.
