Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov sees no legal grounds for dissolving the Parliament. In particular, he commented on the possibility of early termination of the powers of MPs due to the lack of sittings for 30 days.

Dmytro Razumkov stressed that the issue of dissolving the Verkhovna Rada should be considered in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine and the conclusions of the Constitutional Court. "In 2004, there was a decision of the Constitutional Court (N11-rp / 2004 of 19.05.2004), which clearly states - if the Parliament does not meet during 30 days for the scheduled sittings, it may be grounds for its dissolution," said the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.

The Speaker of the Parliament stressed that during the entire work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation there was not a single case when the Parliament could not convene at the scheduled sittings, and therefore, there are no reasons for early termination of its powers. "I see no reason to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada. And it is hardly possible to go against the decisions of the CCU," Dmytro Razumkov noted.
