Adopted as a basis the Draft Law No. 5246 “On Amending the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine to Implement the Information and Telecommunication System for Pretrial Investigations”.
The draft Law provides for supplementing the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with provisions that propose to establish the legal basis for the use of information and telecommunications system of pre-trial investigation in the activities of participants of criminal proceedings.
The draft Law of Ukraine No. 5246, in particular, provides:
- functional purpose of information and telecommunication system of pre-trial investigation;
- providing access to materials stored in the information and telecommunication system of the pre-trial investigation;
- the possibility of integrating the information and telecommunication system of the pre-trial investigation with other information and telecommunication systems in cases provided by the law.
