The Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management recommends adopting as a basis the draft law on the territories of the Emerald Network

The Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management considered the draft law No. 4461 on the territories of the Emerald Network, aimed at establishing the legal and organizational basis for defining the territories of the Emerald Network and managing them in Ukraine to preserve natural habitats and species of fauna and flora that are subject to special protection in accordance with Ukraine's obligations under international agreements. During the elaboration of the bill in the first reading, it was discussed with all stakeholders.

The Committee decided to recommend adopting the draft law as a basis. 

Members of the Committee considered the bill "On Amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine to establish the State Fund of Inland Waterways". The draft law №4168 proposes to create the State Fund of Inland Waterways within the special fund of the state budget of Ukraine to ensure navigation on inland waterways. The bill also defines the sources of formation of the fund and the directions of its use.

MPs considered the draft Resolution "On measures aimed at strengthening social protection and honoring citizens affected by the Chornobyl disaster on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy" (No. 5211), which proposes a number of measures aimed at strengthening social protection and honoring citizens affected by the Chornobyl disaster, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy.

The Committee supported the decision to recommend to the Committee on Social Policy and the Protection of Veterans' Rights adopt the draft resolution, taking into account the Committee's comments.

Following consideration of the draft Resolution “On Support for Business Entities Using Alternative Energy Sources” (№5223), the Committee supported its adoption, taking into account the Committee's comments. The relevant decision will be sent to the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services as a main Committee.
