The meeting of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence was held, at which the members of the Committee considered four issues.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and representatives of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed the deputies about the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.
The deputies also heard representatives of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine on the personnel policy of the Service, as well as on the situation around the FISU officer Yuriy Zontov.
Deputy Minister of Defense Ihor Khalimon provided information on the organization of food security in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Based on the results of hearing the information, the Committee decided to prepare an appeal to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
During the meeting, representatives of the Center for Defense Strategies presented draft amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Defense Procurement".
