The Committee on Law Enforcement recommends to adopt in the second reading and in general the draft law on strengthening administrative liability for illegal fuel trade

Members of the Committee on Law Enforcement considered the draft Law No. 2515 on Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to Strengthen Administrative Liability for Illegal Fuel Trade prepared for the second reading.
The bill adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on July 14, 2020 proposes to eliminate some shortcomings in the legislation and introduce administrative liability for wholesale or retail trade in fuel without permits, if required by law, and for other violations of fuel trade rules.
The chairman of the subcommittee said that in preparation for the second reading, 33 proposals were received, 10 of which were proposed to be considered and 23 to be rejected.
The speaker also said that the Committee had prepared three proposals for the bill, which were also proposed to be taken into account.
Following the voting, the Committee decided to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft law in the second reading and in general, taking into account the proposals of the Committee.
