The Committee on Digital Transformation recommends the adoption of the new draft law On stimulating the development of the digital economy in Ukraine

At the meeting of the Committee on Digital Transformation, MPs considered the draft Law No. 4303 "On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine", prepared for the second reading.
The main purpose of the bill is to form an advanced digital economy in Ukraine in the coming years and increase the share of high-tech products and services in Ukraine's total GDP to 10 percent.
The draft law provides for the introduction of a number of measures to stimulate the development of the digital economy in Ukraine: a special regime of taxation of residents of the 'Diia City' in accordance with tax legislation; remuneration paid by residents of the 'Diia City' to persons whose work they use, in accordance with tax legislation; the possibility of choosing a contractual form of employment contract in the registration of employment relations between residents of the 'Diia City' and their employees, etc.
MP Kira Rudyk noted that all bills related to the 'Diia City' regime should be considered in a package and representatives of associations should be involved in the work on the projects as much as possible.
The Committee decided to submit to the Parliament the new version of the draft Law "On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine" prepared by the Committee and to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt it as a basis based on the results of the second reading.
