The temporary commission of inquiry into the violation of children's rights has set up working groups

The temporary commission of inquiry into the Violations of the Rights of the Child during the Decentralization of Powers for Child Protection, Reforming the System of Institutions of Institutional Care and Upbringing, Realization of the Child's Right to Family Upbringing and Adoption, Development of Social Services has set up working groups. 

The participants of the meeting approved the composition of the working groups and the procedure for consideration of appeals in the working groups. TCI Chairperson Pavlo Sushko presented the draft decision on the establishment of working groups of the commission of inquiry in certain areas. The Chairperson of the Commission announced information about the groups that have already been formed:

- investigation of the legality of the use of funds by the project "Modernization of the social support system of the population of Ukraine";
- clarification of cases and causes of violations of the rights of children and their parents during the decentralization of powers on child protection;
- detection of systemic violations in the implementation of the child's right to family upbringing and adoption;
- investigation of the implementation of the reform of institutional care and upbringing of children in the framework of the National Strategy for reforming the system of institutional care and upbringing of children for 2017-2026, establishing cases of violations of the rights of children and their parents during it's implementation;
- establishing the level of development of modernization of social services in the implementation of inclusion.

TCI members approved the decision to involve experts and specialists to work in the commission of inquiry.
