Adopted the Law of Ukraine “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine to Resume Competitions for Public Service Positions and Other Public Service Issues” with proposals of the President of Ukraine

The Law of Ukraine No. 4531 “On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine to Resume Competitions for Public Service Positions and Other Public Service Issues” resumes the holding of competitions for public service positions which in connection with the implementation of measures aimed at preventing the emergence and spread of COVID-19 were suspended.
New competitions will be announced for positions of categories:
- A – lasting for 4 months since the day of coming into force of this Law;
- B and C – for 9 months since the day of coming into force of this Law;
The Law also cancels the possibility of dismissing category A public servants highest offices on the initiative of the appointing entity, followed by the dismissed official’s stay in a non-staff position for 6 months and payment of 6 monthly salaries to that official.
