Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov signed the Law of Ukraine No. 3817 “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Compensation to Citizens Loss of Part of Income in Connection with Violation of Terms of Their Payment’.” The law defines an exhaustive list of types of cash income for which citizens are compensated for violation of the terms of payment, including in such a list pensions or monthly lifetime cash benefits (taking into account allowances, increases, supplementary pension, targeted financial assistance, pension for special services to Ukraine and other supplements to the pension established by law), social benefits, scholarships, wages (cash benefits), the amount of indexation of monetary income of citizens, the amount of compensation for damage caused to an individual by injury or other damage to health, the amount paid to persons entitled to compensation in case of loss of the breadwinner.
The Law also specifies the sources of payment of such compensation.
