The Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine signed the Resolution “On Commemorating the Memory of the Ukrainians Who Rescued Jews During World War II”

Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov signed the Resolution No. 4479 “On Commemorating the Memory of the Ukrainians Who Rescued Jews During World War II”. By the Resolution, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine establishes May 14 as the Day of Commemorating the Memory of the Ukrainians Who Rescued Jews During World War II.
 
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has been recommended to establish, together with the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, a list of individuals who risked their lives and the lives of relatives to help Jews avoid Nazi terror during the Holocaust.
 
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine recommended to ensure that thematic events dedicated to the Day of Commemorating the Memory of the Ukrainians Who Rescued Jews During World War II in educational institutions.
 
And also, to include relevant topics in the list of topics of competitions of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, essays, term papers and dissertations in higher education institutions.
