Ruslan Stefanchuk announced consideration of the draft Law on Local Referendums

By the end of next week, the draft Law on Local Referendums will be presented at the meeting of the Working group on the development of draft laws on democracy issues. This was stated by First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
 
In addition, according to him, at the beginning of the session, MPs will consider the Plan of Legislative Work for 2021. “I ask the MPs to support this document. This is an important step in the implementation of Article 19-1 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’. The prepared Plan will be a guide for deputies, committees and the government to work according to a certain logic and structure. It can be promptly adjusted depending on the situation,” noted Ruslan Stefanchuk.
 
The First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also spoke about the results of the first sitting of the Parliamentary Working Group on the preparation of a draft law on recoding (updating) the civil legislation of Ukraine. According to Ruslan Stefanchuk, the authors of the Concept of updating the Civil Code of Ukraine have identified the main areas of updating the legal regulation of life for every day of every citizen of Ukraine.
