The Committee on Social Policy and Labour discussed the Practice of Application of the Laws "On Indexation of Pecuniary Gain of the Population" and "On Recovery of Partial Loss of Income due to Violation of Periods of its Payment"

The Committee members listened to the report of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, other central executive bodies and the National Trilateral Socio-Economic Council under the President of Ukraine.  

 

The People´s Deputies commented upon the non-systematic implementation of legislative acts and preliminary resolutions of the Committee by the executive bodies.

 

The Committee members also analyzed the practice of application of the Law "On Recovery of Partial Loss of Income due to Violation of Periods of its Payment". According to the results of analysis, the procedure of calculating the compensation for partial loss of income due to violation of periods of its payment only with account for inflation rates is utterly inefficient.

 

The People´s Deputies are also dissatisfied with the level of employees´ awareness of the right for the compensation for partial loss of income due to violation of periods of its payment (through the fault of local trade unions).
