Law of Ukraine No. 3577 amends the legislative acts, which give the right to persons from among orphans and children deprived of parental care after reaching 23 years of age, to receive housing from the social housing fund and provide them with social or rented housing before providing living space for permanent residence.
The law amends the Laws of Ukraine “On Child Protection” and “On Ensuring Organizational and Legal Conditions for Social Protection of Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care” in terms of providing opportunities for orphans and children deprived of parental care, persons from among them, after reaching the age of 23, at their request, to receive monetary compensation for their living space.
The law also regulates the registration of citizens in need of better living conditions, orphans, children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them, whose place of origin is the settlements of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
