The United Nations was established 75 years ago, an organization that supports and strengthens peace and international security around the world, and strives to develop cooperation between nations. Ukraine is rightly proud of its status as a founding member of the Organization.

Ukraine's independence has strengthened cooperation with the United Nations, and thanks to its active and principled position, today our state enjoys a well-deserved authority in the Organization.

Maintaining international peace and security, preventing and eliminating threats and stopping acts of aggression remain key goals for the UN today. Ukraine takes an active part in achieving them and contributes to the development of friendly relations between nations and the solution of international economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems.

Cooperation with the United Nations is one of the priorities of the country's foreign policy. I am convinced that Ukraine will continue to strengthen its authority in the international arena. And ensuring human rights, inviolability of borders and territorial integrity will remain values for all Member States.
