Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk reminded of the key role of the Parliament in the country's foreign policy and called for immediate consideration of the statement on the situation in the Republic of Belarus. 

“I am convinced that the Ukrainian Parliament cannot stay away from the situation when the Belarusian people, fighting for fair results of the presidential election, face the use of brutal force, repressions, intimidation by the Belarusian authorities,” Olena Kondratiuk stressed during the Conciliation Council.

The Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada called for immediate consideration of the draft Resolution No.3053a “On the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Situation in the Republic of Belarus” already this session week.
