Adoption of the draft law will allow convicts to serve the remainder of their sentence in their own country, which will facilitate the process of their social reintegration. The bill was supported by 321 MPs.
- No. 0044 “"On Ratification of the Treaty between Ukraine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons.” The implementation of the draft Law will create an effective mechanism of cooperation between the two states in resolving the issue of transferring persons sentenced to imprisonment to the state of their citizenship. Adoption of the draft law will allow convicts to serve the remainder of their sentence in their own country, which will facilitate the process of their social reintegration. The bill was supported by 321 MPs.
- No. 0045 “On ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.” The Agreement will establish an effective mechanism for cooperation between the competent authorities of the Parties in the field of mutual legal assistance in investigations and court proceedings on offenses that fall under the jurisdiction of the requesting Party at the time of the request for assistance. The bill was supported by 322 MPs.
- No. 0046 “On Ratification of the Treaty between Ukraine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Extradition.” Under the Agreement, the Parties undertake to extradite to each other any person who is in the territory of one of the Parties and who is prosecuted for a criminal offense or wanted for the purpose of serving a sentence of imprisonment for a criminal offense imposed by the courts of the other Party. The bill was supported by 324 MPs.
- No. 0047 “On Ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Mutual Legal Assistance in Civil Matters.” The provisions of the Agreement enshrine the right of citizens of either Party to the same legal protection in the territory of the other Party in accordance with its legislation as citizens of that Party. Citizens of either Party in the territory of the other Party shall, in accordance with its law, have the right of access to courts and other competent authorities to protect their rights and interests in civil matters under the same conditions as nationals of that Party. The bill was supported by 323 MPs.
