Sitting of the Conciliation Commission of parliamentary factions (parliamentary groups)
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened the sitting of the Conciliation Commission of parliamentary factions (groups) and then delivered a brief report on developments in the country, with the focus on the rainfalls-caused massive floods in Zakarpattia and some other areas.
At the beginning of his speech, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk reminded that there are only two weeks to go before the end of plenary sittings and called on to centre in those legislative acts that are essential for Ukraine's development.
Leaders of the factions and groups spoke at the meeting.
There was then decided to hear the premier on Friday during the questions hour on the flood matters, some staffing issues and the use of funds appropriated for the anti-COVID-19 battle.
The Chairman stressed the readiness of the Parliament to consider all legislative initiatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at any time.
The presiding officer closed the sitting of the Conciliation Commission.
