Pursuant to the Constitution of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada D.Razumkov has signed today three bills of importance adopted at the 13 April extraordinary sitting of parliament, viz - Nos.3279-d, 3276 and 2370.
These three pieces of legislation have already been submitted up to the President of Ukraine for signature.
In particular, these are necessary changes to Ukraine’s state budget for 2020; a draft law amending the functioning of courts during the quarantine; and a bill designed to set up the National Geospatial Portal (aka National Geoportal).
The statute launches an UAH 65 bn anti-COVID 19 fund to battle the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus sequelae. The funds will be used for immediate healthcare needs, social protection and other quarantine-induced demands.
The new law allows:
-transferring of a motion to another court if it’s impossible to assign a trier at a single given court (except for the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine);
-video conferencing of a criminal proceeding at its tre-trial and properly trial stages, except for certain cases established by legislation, etc.
All the geospatial data systems existing in Ukraine will be integrated into a single database – the National Geoportal, free access to which is available by means of the Internet service. In the face of unleashing the land market this law will allow detecting inaccuracies and incompleteness in data contained in the State Land Cadastre, thus ensuring further feeding it with updated information.
