“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider on Monday some changes to the state budget as well as other important issues,” -- Dmytro Razumkov
During the recent meeting of the Verkhovna Rada leadership with representatives of the Government, parliamentary factions and groups, there was talked over a provisional agenda of the extraordinary plenary sitting scheduled for April 13, 2020.
Reportedly, it contains the following items:
1. Changes to Ukraine’s state budget.
2. A bill on the national geospatial data infrastructure.
3. Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On protection of the population against infectious diseases" to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
4. Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine".
5. President of Ukraine's proposals to the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on the introduction of a single account for payment of taxes, fees, and single contributions to compulsory state social insurance".
6. A bill aimed to strengthen accountability for intentional arsons.
7. A resolution to recall parliament's decision to pass the land market law.
Dmytro Razumkov also noted that the Parliament does not suspend its work. "We do gather less in the parliamentary chamber, but this does not affect the quality of work of the highest legislative body of the state," he averred in conclusion.
