Extraordinary sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (chained)

The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk opened the special meeting of parliament.
The presiding officer clued up that the event is convened on account of the President V.Zelenskyi’s demand.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov informed that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi was present at the extraordinary meeting, and gave him the floor. The Head of State appealed to lawmakers to support important bills regarding functioning of the banking system and the circulation of agricultural lands.
The presiding officer gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups.
MPs then agreed on the agenda of the current meeting.
The current agenda
1. Draft resolution No.3289 on appointment of S.M. Marchenko as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine;
2. Draft resolution No.3290 on appointment of M.V. Stepanov as the Minister of Health of Ukraine;
3. Bills Nos.2571-2, 2571-3 and 2571-d on amendments to UA law regarding certain issues of functioning of the banking system;
4. Bill No.2178-10 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the circulation of agricultural lands”.

S.M. Marchenko was appointed to be the Minister of Finance of Ukraine by 256 parliamentarians.
On appointment of V.M. Stepanov as health minister

V.M. Stepanov was appointed to be the Minister of Health of Ukraine by 246 parliamentarians.
On banking system
--Draft bill No.2571-d
MPs supported halving the term for making the bill No.2571-d ready to its second reading.
On circulation of agricultural lands
--Draft bill No.2178-10
The bill 2178-10 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the circulation of agricultural lands” was finally considered through and by 259 votes in favour approved on its second reading and in whole.
