VRU’s intelligence committee meets NATO reps to debate about defence reform

The VRU Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence

On December 9, the committee held a meeting with Gordon “Skip” Davis, NATO's Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defense Investment Division. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine and Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine, Alexander Vinnikov, the Senior Security Policy Advisor at NATO Representation to Ukraine, Tomasz Strycharz, the Deputy Director of the NATO Liaison Office, Christopher Duggan, and the Senior National Political Officer at NATO Representation to Ukraine, Oksana Osadcha.

The parties focused on the reform of Ukraine's defence-industrial complex. The foreign guests were also briefed on activities of the committee, its subcommittees and working groups established.

Representatives of the North Atlantic Alliance in Ukraine assured the Ukrainian side of full support to positive changes in the country, including its legislative sphere.
