The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has anticipatorily terminated the powers of the Central Election Commission (CEC). The parliament adopted the relevant resolution No.2127.
In accordance with paragraph 21 of Part One of Article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Article 311 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Central Election Commission”, and taking into account a well-founded motion of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to disband the entire Central Election Commission ahead of time.
To this end, the following commissioners are to be dismissed from their posts:
Basalaieva Alla, Bernatska Nataliia, Verbenskyi Mykhailo, Didenko Oleh, Yevstihnieiev Andrii, Yefremova Iryna, Zheltova Olha, Konopolskyi Oleh, Kustova Svitlana, Lotiuk Olha, Makhnitska Kateryna, Plukar Vitalii, Radchenko Yevhenii, Slipachuk Tetiana, Shypilov Leontii, Yuzkova Tetiana.
The resolution shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.
