There took place the closing sitting of the Preparatory parliamentary group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
A regular meeting of the Preparatory parliamentary group was opened by the group leader Dmytro Razumkov. He then read out the meeting’s agenda.
The group approved amendments to the draft resolution on the procedure of covering the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation.
The faction-oriented session hall placement procedure for parliamentarians was also confirmed by the group. Providing accommodation to the committees was still in progress.
The conferees validated the second sub-group’s performance report.
MPs then switched over to changes in complements of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation. The preparatory group then lowered the bottom limit for a committee complement down to 5 persons.
An array of amendments was then made to distribution of factions’ quotas among the committees, as well as to the committees’ leadership team. Finally, the group was said to have accomplished distributing the above quotas, and finalized on the committees’ leadership.
MPs then proceeded to the agenda of the first plenary session of the new parliament. It was agreed that the business of the day should include the draft bill No.7203 on amendments to the article 80 of Ukraine’s constitution regarding the parliamentary privilege for Ukrainian parliamentarians. Participants of the meeting approved the said agenda in full.
The presiding officer closed the meeting at that point.
