Verkhovna Rada mothers five parliamentary factions and one group

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation has formed parliamentary factions and groups. Dmytro Razumkov, presiding the first meeting, announced that the following factions and group had been formed and registered:

The People’s Servant Party faction (PSP faction) – 254 men – headed by Davyd Arakhamiia, MP, with Oleksandr Korniienko, MP, as his deputy;

The Opposition Platform–For Life faction – 44 men – co-leaded by Yurii Boiko and Vadym Rabynovych, both MPs;

The All-Ukrainian Association “Batkivshchyna” faction – 25 men – headed by Yuliia Tymoshenko, MP, with Serhii Soboliev, MP, as her deputy;

The European Solidarity Party faction – 27 men – co-leaded by two MPs Artur Herasymov and Iryna Herashchenko;

The Holos Party faction – 17 men – headed by Serhii Rakhmanin, MP, with Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP, as his deputy;

The parliamentary group “For the Future” – 23 men – co-leaded by two MPs Viktor Bondar and Taras Batenko.

Article 83 of the Ukrainian Constitution empowers a majority faction to gather a coalition at the parliament. Manned with 254 heads, the PSP faction is seen to soon undertake so.
