Andriy Parubiy, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opened the board sitting. He reminded the chamber must resume this week reviewing the second reading of the draft bill No.3112-1 on the Electoral Code. He then advocated for a wider presentation of the code bill to Ukrainian society. The official voiced his confidence that this Electoral Code is the best system of elections to date. To complete considering the draft code, the parliament was said having some 4,000 amendments to treat.

Andriy Parubiy was grieved to learn that Putin's Ukrainian best friend became the owner of another all-Ukrainian TV channel – ZIK – as it poses more threats to Ukraine’s independence amidst ongoing Russia’s hybrid attacks. "I am convinced that our state authorities should make certain conclusions about that, because   occupying Ukraine’s information space is no less dangerous than the occupation of parts of Ukrainian regions and the Crimea," said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

The presiding officer gave the floor to representatives of parliamentary factions and groups.

Being asked of the coalition strength papers, the Chairman again explained he had already handed over all the necessary documents to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, whose decision should now be waited for. In the speaker’s opinion "the end of the coalition's life may only be announced by the coalition itself, and that happened on that day when the head of the "People's Front" faction stated about the faction’s secession and the termination of the coalition's activities. And this is the only document we can rely upon if we want to act in accordance with the law".

The floor was then given to representatives of parliamentary committees and MPs.

Closing the sitting, the Chairman reminded the parliament is to meet today at half past noon.
