May 28. The parliament passed the resolution No.8576 "On changes in the administrative organization the Donetsk Oblast, alteration and establishment of new city limits of the City of Horlivka and the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk Oblast". The paper enlarged the Bakhmut raion’s (district) area of the oblast by 71.7 ha.
May 29. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine heard the 2018 performance report of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.
May 30. That day became the go-ahead for the following bills:
No.6350 “On amendments to certain acts of law of Ukraine as to granting leaves to adopters on adoption of an orphan child, a child deprived of parental care” (second reading);
No.10184 “On state recognition and encouragement of the Plast National Scout Organization of Ukraine” (in tote);
No.10181 “On amendments to certain acts of law of Ukraine (as to the general military duty and military service)” (first reading);
No.10204 “On complete general secondary education” (first reading).
The parliament also passed the resolutions No. 10125 “On the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the United Nations, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, national parliaments of foreign countries on the condemnation of violation of indigenous peoples’ rights in the Russian Federation” and No. 10295 “On amendments to the annex to the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On celebration of commemorative dates and anniversaries in 2019”.
By 233 ayes the delegates approved Maksym Onoprienko, MP, to be a member of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian parliament considered the resolution No.10341 on the resignation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman. The paper was then outvoted.
Parliamentarians set about reviewing the three bills on agricultural cooperation No. 6527, 6527-1 і 6527-d.
