 The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the morning plenary session.

The list of issues to be considered at the plenary meeting on May 31:

1.     ‘Ask the Government’ hour.

2.     MPs’ interpellations.

3.     Further review of agricultural cooperation bills No.6527, 6527-1, 6527-d.

 The Chairman then informed that members of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by the First Vice Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, were taking part in the meeting.

The questions hour began.

The presiding officer gave the floor to the First Vice Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, who then presented his three-years-of-reforms report.

After the speech, the presenter and the members of government answered the questions from the floor about promotion of business development, compliance with economic priorities, counteraction to raiding, complaints over a regional department of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre; investigation of the "Lisova” mine tragedy, ensuring payment of wages to miners, payments for gas by the population, its supply and price formation,  repair of roads, control of using funds in regions, fight against electoral corruption, arrangement of pedestrian crossings by the demarcation line in the east of Ukraine, assistance to Ukraine’s citizens who left Syria, responsibility of health ministry officials based on the Accounting Chamber's report, provision of medical care to the population, artistic and musical schools, liability of tour operators, development of tourism, and construction of roads to tourist facilities.

The questions hour ended at this point.

A two-faction statement was made by the head of the Radicals Oleh Liashko.

The First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko announced parliamentary inquiries.

MPs made their statements and proposals.

The presiding officer closed the meeting.

 

The parliament shall meet next time on June 4, Tuesday.
