Chairman opens meeting of Conciliation Board

The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament opened the today's meeting of the Conciliation Board with important news over Tomos for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, text of which is supposed to be approved on November 27-29 in Istanbul.

He also said this week sees the 85th anniversary of the 1932-33 Holodomor calamity and Ukraine in concert with the whole free world would honour the memory of millions of Ukrainians exterminated by the bloodthirsty Stalin’s regime.

Triggered by the Committee on Foreign Affairs, there will be a special sitting at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, taking place at 15:00 pm on Friday, November 23.  

All parliamentarians are invited to participate.

Afterwards, the Chairman informed the conferees about the business of the current plenary week.
