The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy informed those present that the meeting was attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine headed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman.
The hour opened.
The presiding officer gave the floor to the education minister Liliia Hrynevych, who was to report on the new rules for primary school enrolment and school year completion.
According to the minister, the main goal of the law “On education” was to weed out the bribable primary enrolment practices. The new approach ensures that a child of six is surely given a place at a school nearby its residence. The minister also reported about the latest data of the academic year completion in educational institutions.
Thereupon, the Prime Minister V.Hroisman and the ministers answered the questions from the parliamentary factions.
