The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy opened the morning session.

The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of parliamentary factions and groups who made their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.

Parliamentarians reviewed a draft resolution on parliamentary hearings on the theme "Implementation of international documents on prevention of anthropogenic climate changes in Ukraine".

Later on, the parliamentarians opened the second reading of the draft law No.2386a-1 on amendments to certain legislative acts on health care and organs transplantation and other human anatomical materials. The parliamentarians reviewed 153 amendments from 205 submitted to the bill.  Further consideration of the paper will continue at the next plenary meeting.

Parliamentary hearings on climate changes: Draft resolution No.6129

Taken on the second reading was there the resolution on parliamentary hearings on the theme "Implementation of international documents on prevention of anthropogenic climate changes in Ukraine".

The hearings shall take place on July 4, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the main parliamentary chamber.

Representatives of central and local executive authorities, local authorities, non-governmental organizations, specialized international organizations, experts from scientific institutions are encouraged to participate in the said parliamentary hearings.

 

F i r s t  reading bills taken

 

On grounds for expert examinations: Draft bill No.8116

The draft law provides that an examination is to be carried out by an expert at the request of a party to criminal proceedings or if so instructed by an investigating judge or court, provided special knowledge is needed to clarify the circumstances relevant to the criminal proceedings. The appropriate changes are to be applied to properly amend the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine and the law of Ukraine “On forensic examination”.
