Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government
The committee commends the Parliament to take it on the first reading the bill No.8053 with a range of amendments to the law of Ukraine "On State Awards of Ukraine".
The draft law was made to re-position the nomination “Compiling textbooks for general secondary, vocational and higher education establishments” from its old place to educational nominations of the State education prize, and to reconcile Ukraine’s state awarding legislation with the most recent changes in its education law.
The Association of
Ukrainian Cities has also defined the bill to be capable of providing state
awards of Ukraine not only to the scientific workers who make textbooks
immediately but also to pedagogical workers and teams of developers.
