The members of the Parliament of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko and Mariia Ionova transferred a car for soldiers of the 72nd OMBr. With the assistance of Iryna Herashchenko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the members of parliament Iryna Lutsenko, Mariia Ionova and the family of Igor Martynenkov, an entrepreneur, representatives of the 72nd individual mechanized Krasnograd-Kyiv brigade received a MITSUBISHI Pajero car. Iryna Herashchenko noted the heroic work of the soldiers of the 72nd individual mechanized brigade, who serve in the East of Ukraine and defend our state from the foreign aggression of the Russian Federation with due dignity.

”The 72nd brigade joined the most terrible battles in the beginning of this year and unfortunately, while defending our country, it had losses each month. It is very important for people living in a peaceful Kyiv to remember that the war still lasts and our duty is to help the army,” said Iryna Herashchenko. The politician then informed that during working trips to the Donbas, together with the Ukrainian members of parliament Mariia Ionova and Iryna Lutsenko, regular meetings with the military were held; they paid some visits to Avdiivka, where the 72nd brigade is dislocated.

"One of our last trips to Avdiivka was made together with the EU countries ambassadors and deputies of the European Parliament.   Igor Martynenko, who came from Donets’k, was also with us in the industrial zone of the colony -- as thousands of Ukrainians, he most of all wants Donets’k to be liberated from the invaders,” underlined Iryna  Herashchenko.

The First Vice-Speaker thanked all sponsors who were helping the army, and the Martynenkos, in particular, whose contribution that time was the MITSUBISHI Pajero car in question.

“In the end of August and in the beginning of September I and my colleagues, members of parliament Iryna  Lutsenko and Mariia  Ionova, are going to visit the Donbas again,” informed Iryna Herashchenko finally.

The car’s keys were handed over to Alexander Samarsky, the lieutenant-colonel, deputy commander of MU A2167, the 72nd OMBr. The Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Samarsky thanked for the regular aid and the attention to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He noted that in the context of the regular violations of the ‘silence regime’ throughout the Donbas, which are making to spite the established truce, this helping is extremely important.
