Hanna Hopko, the Head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs had a meeting with Dr.Shpresa Kureta, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Albanian Ambassador Non-resident to the Republic of Ukraine
The September 25 meeting was also attended by the Albanian honorary consul and the Albania-Ukraine inter-parliamentary group’s head.
The parties had broad debate over the bilateral inter-state relations and agreed to soon expand the mutual political dialogue.
In the focus of the discussion, there were the issues of the Russian aggression in the Donbas, complete restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the temporarily occupied Crimea state of affairs. Much praised was the support Albania was rendering to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, with high hopes for the same in future.
The establishment of the Republic of Albania’s honorary consulate office in Kharkiv in 2015 was positively marked by the parties with one mind.
