06 March 2008, 16:46

During the discussion the People´s Deputies stated that all the Bills regulate the same range of issues, influence one aspect of social relations, and, thus, are regarded as alternative.

The Bills define legal, organizational, financial principles and mechanisms of functioning of compulsory State social medical insurance.

However, the People´s Deputies drew attention to necessity to settle the issues concerning differentiation of persons subject to insurance and those who can be insured on a voluntary basis.

As the result of the discussion, the Committee passed a resolution to recommend that The Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis the Bill (Reg. No. 1040) submitted by Ya. Sukhy and L.Denisova, the People´s Deputies of Ukraine.
