Opening the
session, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reported on the
working visit to the USA, which took place in June 12-16 and then resulted in
Memorandum on cooperation between the US Congress and the Ukrainian Parliament. The Chairperson
gave thanks to all the MPs who had had a hand in the Memorandum preparations.
Two
parliamentary fractions had requested to give floor to a representative from
the Petro Poroshenko Bloc”Solidarity”
who then called on Lviv’s Mayor to either take immediate measures to settle
on the city garbage or resign.
The MPs have then shifted
to the agenda.
Bill No.6232, adopted
in its first reading, amends more than 25 Ukrainian codes and laws with the aim
to cope with procedural difficulties in effective legal defence, improve
principles of legal proceedings and procedural arrangements.
MPs proceeded to
the financial issues.
The presiding officer
closed the meeting.
