The Bill (Reg. No.1050) was elaborated "to improve customs and tariff regulation by introducing amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine appertaining to increase and elimination of exorbitant differentiation of import duty rates, legalization of hidden import flows, saturation of internal market with commodities, produced by national enterprises of Ukraine".
The Committee members believe that increase of rates of import duties on starters and relative spares till 28-33 % will contradict international commitments of Ukraine.
However, the explanatory note fails to contain detailed financial and economic argumentation and calculation concerning increased State budget revenue in view of new rates of import duty.
