The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On State Aid to the Families with Children" (re Payments by Child's Birth and Upbringing)

Since 1 January 2009, the Bill (Reg. No. 1043-2) establishes the rate of aid by a child´s birth depending on the rate of a living wage for children under 6, and changes its name into "the aid by birth and for upbringing".

 

Pursuant to the Bill, "the aid by the birth of the first child will be rendered at the rate of 9 amounts of living wage for the children under 6".  "The aid by the birth of the second child will be rendered at the rate of 9,1 amounts of living wage for the children under 6".  Moreover, "the aid by the birth of the third and following child will be rendered at the rate of 9,3 amounts of living wage for the children under 6".

 

The People´s Deputies upheld the motion concerning establishment of the constant rate of aid for children in the relevant Law.
