The members of Parliament have adopted bill No.0142 amending ratification of the European Social Charter (revised). Under the new clauses Ukraine is required to gradually uplift the social security system by means of different instruments, including conclusion of appropriate bilateral and multilateral agreements.
By adopting bill No.0138 the parliamentarians have ratified the Ukraine-Croatia economic cooperation agreement signed in 2013
The treaty aims at developing a mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic field. The document also provides for establishing a joint commission on economic issues.
Ukraine and the Czech Republic to boost their scientific and technological collaboration
The respective bilateral agreement signed in 2011, has today been validated by the Verkhovna Rada through adoption of bill No.0140. This concord has focus on forming a legislative background between the two countries in the realms of science and technologies; facilitating integration of Ukrainian researchers and scientists into European academia.
The new draft law eases collection of alimony through simplifying a court protection for the maintenance recipient. It has also been adopted today by the MPs under No.4928.
Amendments to the Ukrainian Family Code with respect to ensuring children’s right to housing adopted
Bill No.5101 enacts a widened list of disputes regarding a family rights and interests protection, forced eviction or registration withdrawal of a child etc.
The first reading of alterations to some Ukrainian laws concerning free meals for children of internally displaced persons accepted
Draft bill No.3459-1 enhances social protection of internally displaced persons by virtue of free meals for their children, including the newborns.
