The Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Amendmnets to the Law "On Cinematography" (re Procedure of Film Distribution and Demonstration)

26 March 2008, 11:57

The Bill (Reg. No.1077) authorizes the distributors of foreign films to dub, post-synch or subtitle them in the State, regional or national minority language, depending on their choice.

However, the Committee believes that the introduced regulation concerning the right of a distributor to choose the language of dubbing can not be applied, since entrepreneurship in the cinematography sector has its peculiarity, as far as it is a public life domain".
