Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian reported on results of the ministry's work in 2016.
He noted that well-organized teamwork allowed the ministry to achieve good results this year.
Omelian reported on changes in the road maintenance sector, road repairs, reforms in railroads sector, etc.
The minister expressed hope that 2017 will become the year of large-scale restoration of roads, open sky, attraction of new low-cost air companies, etc.
Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Nasalyk reported on major problems in the energy sector of Ukraine, redemption of wage debts before miners and coal sector reform.
Besides the minister reported on reforms to be implemented in the coal sector to fully provide the heat generating companies with all required energy resources.
Nasalyk also informed about posting the updated Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035 on the official website of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
The member of the government stressed that his ministry intends to get rid of the anthracite dependence during the forthcoming three years.
The minister also informed about important challenges in the nuclear sector.
He drew attention of the present to the fact that having the Law On Gas Market, Ukraine unfortunately does not have any gas market.
The minister also informed that Ukraine approved the Energy Balance for 2017 for the first time over 16 years which allowed all power generating companies to create energy fuel reserves for the next year.
Later the government members answered oral questions of members of the Ukrainian Parliament.
Most of the questions was answered by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
